Hockey in Florida
Well Everyone, if you have an itch for hockey and don't want to drive to Tampa or Miami to catch an NHL game there are pleanty of games here in your back yard. We have a great rink right here in South Daytona! Here are some photos from this past weekends AAA travel tourney. Support your local Rink and come on out and enjoy a good game.

Monthly NSB Drive in Car Show
Wow it was a good one, as you can see from the photos. I am a bit of an "F" Body fan, so that should explain all the photos. Next month I'll try to get a more varied selection of photos.

New Smyrna Beach Art Fest!
Wow! Another great one. Lots to see and do, even a kids area where they can create something of their own. I'd have to say its a great time and the weather this weekend is amazing for an outdoor event. Browse the tents with tons of interesting art and have a hot dog and a shaved ice while you take in some of the great live entertainment.

Just a Jumping off Point
Hello All,
Just jumping off here. Welcome residents and visitors of New Smyrna Beach (NSB)Florida! I'll be back soon with some updates, but just wanted to get something on here to start off.
Lets just start off with traffic. If you're traveling northbound on Dixie (US1) between NSB and Port Orange. Be prepared for some delays. The D.O.T has begun resurfacing US1 in this area. The project runs from Rose Bay to Edgewater as a whole but they've started in this area, and there may be a few delays from sunrise to sunset as they work. And just remember take your time and drive carefully, husbands, fathers, wives, mothers and all the other associated loved ones words are working on the project and lets keep them safe.
Just as a side note, I heard someone say what an inconvienience it is and why are they doing it now? Well they could just not do it and wait until the road fails, so they can close the road and reroute you 30min out of your way or more, so which is worse a little inconvience now or a lot later.
